  • Our facilitators are trained in CPR and First Aid, and emergency services are nearby. Your safety is always our priority.

    • After intake call (>2 weeks out from retreat): full refund minus hourly rate.

    • <2 weeks out from retreat: 50% refund OR shift retreat date.

    • Retreat begins: no refunds.

  • No experience is necessary. Bring an open mind, a loving heart, and a curiosity to connect with your partner.

  • This absolutely makes sense and is completely normal. Sometimes, one or both attendees feel nervous. What is important to consider is how to support each other going into this space. Some ways to support each other are:

    1. Set Intentions Together and Learn About the Medicine as a Team
      Collaborate on shared intentions for the experience while respecting individual goals. Discuss what each person hopes to gain or explore and what fears they might have. Learn about the medicine together to normalize concerns and demystify the process.
      Partner Support Idea: Before the retreat, each partner can write down their intentions and share them with each other. Reaffirm, “I’m here to support you in this journey,” to build trust and connection.

    2. Create a Safe and Supportive Mini-Bubble
      The retreat setting is designed for safety, but partners can establish a shared “mini-bubble” within it by committing to non-judgmental listening and unconditional support. Establish simple agreements, like holding hands if one partner feels overwhelmed or agreeing on a comforting phrase to say, such as, “You’re safe, and I’m here with you.”
      Partner Support Idea: Bring personal items that symbolize connection, like a shared blanket or a photo of a happy memory, to anchor a sense of comfort during the experience.

    3. Practice Grounding and Emotional Regulation as a Couple
      Couples can practice calming techniques before and during the retreat, such as synchronized breathing, eye gazing, or gentle touch, to ground each other when emotions run high. Encourage each other to communicate openly: “Do you need space or connection right now?” This builds a sense of security and avoids miscommunication.
      Partner Support Idea: Practice a pre-trip grounding ritual, like sitting back-to-back while breathing deeply together. This creates a calming connection and sets the tone for mutual support.

  • Yes! We welcome all couples, including LGBTQ+ relationships, committed to exploring their connection. While we support polyamorous relationships, each couple is limited to two participants for this retreat.

  • The retreat is intentionally small and intimate. We teach in the communal space, and you will have private accommodations to explore with only your partner present. Your privacy preferences are shown the utmost respect.
